Video Guide: How To Tweeze Eyebrows
Materials Needed:
- Brow Wand
- Cosmetic scissors with a straight blade
- Eyebrow pencil
- Slanted Tip tweezers
- Pointed Tip tweezers
- Cotton Swab
- Highlighter pencil in white
- Eyebrow Gel
Step One: Determine Your Shape
Find where the head, tail, and arch will start.
Step Two: Trim Up!
- Trim on an angle.
- Go Slow!
Step Three: Guide the Way.
Take your eyebrow pencil and sketch in your desired shape. This is only a guide, you will wash it off later.
Step Four: Know Your Tweezers!
Use the flat slant edge tweezers to do most of your tweezing.
- Hold skin tight. Makes it easier to remove hair, as well as less painful
- Always tweeze the hair in the direction your hair grows.
Step Five: Get To The Point!
The pointed tweezers are used to remove all the baby hairs, as well as the hard to get hairs.
Step Six: Fine Tune
Take the eyebrow pencil off. Check out your work.
Step Seven: Fill in the Blanks.
Use light, guided strokes to fill in any sparse areas.
- Make sure you have a gradual transitional from thick to thin.
Step Eight: Lighten up.
Using your highlight pencil line the area right below your eyebrow and smudge in with a cotton swab.
- This will increase your lid area, making your eyes appear larger.
Step Nine: Brush Up
Use your brow gel, to keep your brows in place.
